We are excited to welcome students back to Bellevue Montessori School after three months of Distance Learning and our buildings closed to all but our Essential Worker’s children. We have been building garden beds so our students can enjoy gardening this summer and planning fun activities for the children to enjoy.
Our focus during this time has been to make sure that we can provide a safe and healthy environment for our students. We will be instituting the following protocol starting June 15th: limiting the number of students per classroom, sanitizing the classrooms daily as well as sanitizing activities after each child’s use, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for staff and masks for older students, taking staff and student temperatures at the beginning of each day, staff training on procedures and protocols, and only allowing staff and students inside our building (unless there is the need for a repair in which case we would not allow workmen to be in the same space as children). We appreciate parent support as we put these new procedures in place to keep all of our community safe this summer.
